VOiCES 2020: Advances in Far-Field Speaker Recognition

The VOiCES 2020 special session is dedicated to a broad range of research areas to advance the far-field/distant speaker recognition research using the VOiCES corpus. The topics of interest for this special session include (but are not limited to):

  • Advancing the state-of-the-art for Voices Obscured in Complex Environmental Settings (VOiCES)
  • Single/multi-channel speech enhancement (e.g. dereverberation, noise suppression) for speaker recognition
  • Single/multi-channel speaker recognition
  • End-to-end integration of speech enhancement and speaker recognition
  • Domain adaptation for far-field speaker recognition
  • Calibration of speaker recognition in far-field conditions

Prospective authors should adhere to the Speaker Odyssey 2020 paper submission guidelines and schedule. This special session is organized by Mahesh Kumar Nandwana @ SRI International, Michael Lomnitz @ In-Q-Tel and Aaron Lawson @ SRI International.
